Colonial House, 1 year later

We have come to our 1 year anniversary at the house. Here are some of the things we have survived:

-frozen pipe, fixed
-old garage roof, replaced
-shower temp issues, fixed
-owning a pool, we didn'tknow what we were doing, but we learned
-cold, snowy winter, expensive oil
-ugly kitchen floor - now completely redone!
-no period furniture, we bought antique furniture through auctions
-large tree branch falling on wires, power company came out, fixed and cut up
-squirrels in walls, we completed a successful "squirrel eradication program"

Some of the highlights:
-front door work, which took a lot of work, creativity
-new garage roof
-outdoor speakers for pool
-exersize room
-beautiful kitchen floor
-pool party, with fireworks
-thanksgiving dinner
-christmas party
-fires in the fireplace
-beautiful dining room set
-blueberry bushes

What's next
spring!
setting up a workshop in the garage
insulation
securing house from squirrel attacks

All in all, a very good year for our house.
